Emerging Leaders

For those that are at the beginning of their leadership journey it is important to develop positive leadership traits and build confidence in leading and managing whilst highlighting that it's not Who you are as a leader, but How you are that counts.

This programme has been designed to  help new & less experienced managers understand that leading and managing are two sides of the same coin and that when leading it is important that you manage and when you manage it is important that you lead.  This part practical part experiential programme starts the leadership journey with the  the approach of; leading and managing self, your team and your service.

With this programme each new leader will gain valuable insight of their personality type by introducing MBTI, also it will build confidence through exploring and developing greater understanding that; situational leadership, effective delegation, relationship building, communication and performance management are all vital for effective team leadership.

We will also introduce manager as coach in order to develop coaching leadership style required to build truly effective working teams and environments

All of which will underpin each student's understanding that it is not Who we are as leader but How we are that counts!

Aspiring Leaders

This programme has been designed to develop the skills and competencies required by managers looking to advance to the next stage of their leadership career or who have recently taken up a more senior position.

With change an ever present reality in today’s hectic world it is crucial that managers are able to lead with a wider understanding of organisational goals and objectives in mind and in order to do this, they need to be have the confidence in their abilites and skills.

In this programme we will help them to become more confident in themselves as leaders, as they learn how to develop comprehensive strategic plans that will support change or transformational programmes, establish strong professional relationships and forge consensus, build strong teams that are founded on trust and accountability, cultivate good decision making skills and become aware of the need for emotional intelligence and how diversity is a key to real organisational strength, whilst also  recognising that their role is to develop the leaders of tomorrow.

Senior Leaders

For strategic leadership positions transformational leadership is a necessity however, so is stratgic planning, self awareness and employee development not to mention ethics, diversity and compassion!

Senior leaders are the culture setters of any organisation and it is therefore, of fundamental importance that senior leaders not only role model the behaviours and values of the organisation, but that they embody them.

As such this programme is designed to explore and develop greater in depth understanding of areas such as;

Why trust is the cornerstone of any relationship and how to bring that to maximum effect when building effective organisations.

The importance of ethical leadership and how its impact on organisational identity can affect areas such as recruitment and retention.

How to build an effective talent management pipeline with diversity at its heart, which is crucial when building a strong, inclusive and highly engaged workforce, where challenges such as change are readily accepted as the norm.

Therefore this programme requires delegates to bring (non-sensitive) live issues to investigate in session in order to assist in developing a deep understanding of the leadership needs in terms of emotional and cultural awareness.

This will also allow for more in-depth investigation, practice and learning to take place in areas such as; partnership working, talent and change management and strategic planning, .
